One of my classes so far has 2/50 people...
I know freshmen haven't registered yet, but I have this ominus feeling that it will be canceled. How far into registration will they cancel? Should I begin searching for another class?</p>
<p>Typically I think about 12 people for undergrad courses. </p>
<p>Exceptions are sometimes made if it is a graduation requirement, however. Plus the fact that it has 50 seats in it suggests that perhaps they are expecting more.</p>
<p>I would email the department advisor and ask about the status of the course and if there is a possibility of it being cancelled. </p>
<p>And yeah, just in case, I would pick another course. If it doesn't push you over 20 units, you can also register for another course and drop it later if the first course didn't get cancelled.</p>
