what college GPA will at least make you a competitive applicant for mich and unc?

4 yr or CC?

a lot of ppl say 3.5 is a good gpa. But i know some ppl who got in with a 3.2 and some ppl who got rejected with a 3.9

4 yr. i am a freshman at university of arizona and i currently have a 3.412

Probably around average for both schools.

new years bump!

I believe Michigan has a 3.5 minimum FOR SOME MAJORS (eg, Engineering). But you should check that.

happy new years! BUMP

bump up the jam

I'd say 3.4 is competitive @ UMich if you've been taking good classes and were a fairly stellar high school student. Work really hard this semester and make up a progess report type thing to send in around midterms.

i wasnt much of a stellar HS student. partly because i went to one of the most competitive prep schools in the state. out of 90 kids in my grade, 4 went to harvard and 5 went to stanford. most of the kids went to ivies. i had a 3.2 gpa...so i dunno. i got deferred then rejected from mich last year

Give it a shot but you'll probably have better luck after another year of college. Purely anecdotally, I feel like UofM accepts more junior transfers and your high school record won't matter so much.

yeah i should apply after soph year

do i have ANY shot at unc this year?

bump for the last time guys. thanks for the input, although limited. please contribute if you want to, i'd really appreciate it

yeah i lied. i want more input. bump

Does anyone think a 3.769 is good enough to transfer to UNC!!!
