Please someone tell me the minimum criteria for IT at UMN ?
In every aspect!!

For the U of M in general, you need to have 4 years of English, 3 years of math, 3 years of science, 3 years of social studies, 2 years of a single second language, and 1 year of visual or performing arts. However, for the Institute of Technology, they require prospective freshman to take 4 years of mathematics, preferably including calculus, as well as chemistry, biology, and physics. IT freshman admitted for fall 2009 fell on average in the 91.8% of their school’s class rank. 61.9% were in the top 10%, 28.3% in the top 11-25%, and 2.6% below the top 25%. The average ACT score for fall 2009 IT freshmen was a 29.8, the highest average of any U of M college. 77.7% had scores between 28 and 36, 20.7% between 24 and 27, and 1.6% below a 24. The average SAT score was a 1325.0, the second highest average behind the College of Biological Sciences. 57.7% had scores between 1300 and 1600, 36.6% between 1100 and 1299, and 5.7% below a 1100.
