Okay, I’m a sophmore at Hunter College High School, which is this amazingly prestigious high school in NYC, and I was wondering, how high do I need to raise my GPA to get into Barnard?

My high school is from 7th-12th grade, so 8th grade is like 9th grade for us, and 9th grade is like 10th grade for us, and so on and so forth.

8th Grade:
Uh, I can’t remember that far back, but it was mostly B’s, with a couple of A’s (Math A+, Science A-, and Art A+, I believe) and a C in Spanish.

9th Grade:
English II: A-
Math II: A+
Biology: A-
Global Studies: B+
Art II (Semester Course): A+
Spanish II: B-
Physical Ed: B-

10th Grade: (So Far)
English III: A-
Math III: A+
Chemistry: A+
Global Studies: B+
Physical Ed: A-
Art III (Semester Course): Grade Unavailable Yet, Most likely in A range
Spanish III: C+

PSAT Scores: 208/240

As you can see, spanish (and freshman year) is lowering my GPA painfully.

But as I stand now, and if I continue like this junior/senior year, do I stand a chance?

Thanks!
