Minimum progress?

I took a couple AP classes and the units show up on my academic history. Are you allowed to use AP credits/transfer courses towards the 36-unit requirement for minimum progress at UCSD?

"Minimum Progress

You are expected to make progress toward your degree by completing a minimum of 36 units per academic year, an average of 12 successfully completed units each quarter. If by the end of the year you have not completed 36 units, you may use summer session credits to achieve the required minimum progress. This requirement is especially important if you are on financial aid.

If you take classes at a college or university other than UC San Diego, please check with UC San Diego Admissions to be certain the work is transferable. Additional information for California Community Colleges is available at Welcome to ASSIST. The Entry Level Writing Requirement (SDCC1) taught at UC San Diego will count as workload credit toward your minimum progress requirement."

Thanks

No. You did not take those AP Classes during the same academic year. 36 units per year isn’t a lot. Most people do 16 per quarter their first year, which is 48 units.
