<p>The SBU website says there is a minimum UW average of 93% for both the WISE program and the CS Honors Program. I was just wondering what that translated into GPA-wise. My school does not calculate percentages, they work only on a 4.0 scale.
I was also wondering if this was a hard limit. I'm a junior currently and will have a 3.5-3.6 UW and a 4.2-4.3 W GPA by the end of this year (which probably does not make the cut?) as well as a 1530 (800M/730CR) on the SATs, which does meet the requirements. Just wondering if they automatically do not consider people with lower GPAs. If they don't, I won't take the time to apply.
Also, what are the differences between the programs? Is there a better program to be in?</p>
