Minimum to pass the AP World History Exam?

My teacher told us that if we got 100% on the SAQ and at least 40% on everything else, we could get a three. When he says this, it makes it seem as though it’s easy to pass, but the passing rates say otherwise. What do you think?

I would agree with your teacher. Although the likelihood that you would get the top mark for each SAQ is slim.

You can play around with the score calculator yourself.

To anyone who sees this now, somehow I managed a 3

Honestly I didn’t think I would do it since I gave up during the AP test and didn’t finish my LEQ. I also did horribly on the DBQ. I tried really hard on the mcq’s as well as the SAQ (although I pretty much bs that last one), so that must have saved me. I think that the curve was what saved me too, because I’m sure I BARELY passed. I was expecting a 2 and can’t express how shocked I am to have recieved that score.
