Minneapolis to Pittsburgh two-week college tour: Too much?

This is an ambitious trip but I wonder whether it will be worthwhile visiting so many LACs in June when school is not in session. With an empty campus you won’t get much feel for the student body.

If you can, I’d try to defer some of these trips to the fall.

I didn’t check the price on Budget, but according to the attached link their one way program offers unlimited mileage.

Thanks, everyone! I got tickets today. I ended up doing what noimagination suggested: fly to Minneapolis/St. Paul, drive to Grinnell, Chicago, Wisconsin and back to Minneapolis/St. Paul. At one point I thought we’d fly from Minnesota to Cleveland or Pittsburgh, while skipping Chicago and Ann Arbor, but that turned out to be very hard to do with the vouchers. In the end I just had to spend $250 for 3 round-trips from Denver to Minneapolis, so I’m happy. We may do another trip to Ohio and Pennsylvania later in the summer.
