Minnesota

What are my chances at University of Minnesota - Twin Cities? What are my chances of getting into their honors program? What are my chances at going for a VERY low rate (almost free?)? Can you do anything about the rates of the out-state prices for the first year? Thanks! :D

you'll simply get in. nothing more. honors is a stretch.

You'll get in. Getting it for almost free might be a big stretch. Honors? No idea.

I live in MN, and "the U" is getting more and more competitive. Kids from our state used to just "go to the U" if they got ok grades in school...now you had better be top 20% and a nice SAT score 1250 or so, or you can forget about it. And that's in-state. We're revamping our school to provide more honors programs and cutting some departments. the U of M is looking to be a top public research school.

What about the Air Force Academy?

No way.....

:-( :-(
