minor crimes/school violations and college admissions

my situation:
i applied to colleges (mostly privates) but i have decided to stay a year and then apply for admission in fall 2009. so i'm gonna apply as a freshman again but just be a year later than my peers.

so what i'm wondering is, if i do some minor crime (say, streaking) or do something real rowdy at school (and possibly get suspended), how would this affect my admission into colleges for 2009? this year i will probably apply to mostly public schools. thank you!

dude

you should get an award for streaking

how is that a crime

haha "public indecency" or something.

anyway, anyone wanna answer my questions?

I think a suspension would reflect badly if you're applying to any top schools.

And I agree with Pyroclasm. There would be no ramifications from streaking in public. That would just be awesome.

Just make sure you don't do it at the cricket: YouTube - Andrew Symonds Takes Out Streaker at the Gabba.

i was thinkin of doin it at a street, in sf (maybe).

i'm probably not going to apply to any top schools. screw those.

btw, sweet video! haha

i remember when i was like twelve and getting arrested sounded really bad. and now my friends "almost" get arrested like every weekend. basically, not many average partying teenagers are going to think its that bad, but a college would DEFINITELY frown upon it. think of it this way. next year is the most competitive college admissions season EVER....and there will be 100 kids just like you who didnt get arrested.

aw **** that would suck. stupid 09.

Apply to Bard. It's clothing optional.

how negatively would it reflect on my application to start something rowdy at school (and possibly get suspended)?

note: senior grades will be included (much better than junior grades), and applying to publics (UC's)
