So from all of those humanities and social science electives that I had to take in engineering, I am miraculously 2 courses away from an Arts minor.

I am only taking 4 courses this semester (usual is 6/semester in my school), so I am thinking of filling the gap with 2 economics courses to get an Arts minor.

Basically, is an Arts minor something worth to get if I am so close to it? Is a CS minor better? (though I will need like 4 more courses for this)...

Thanks!

i would do the CS, Arts minor won’t really do much for you…

yeah, CS > Econ in the skills category.

From what I understand, minors won’t do much for you in terms of getting a job, they’re more to educate you in a topic of interest. I would personally go for the economics minor, if that is something that interests you. If nothing else, it would at least show a future employer that there is more to you than just being a technical thinker in the realm of science and math, which you would already be proving by your engineering degree. In the end, do what interests you more. College isn’t all about future employment, it’s about you too.
