Hi guys,

I'm a accounting major freshman in a univ with a top-notch accounting school. My plan after graduating from college is to land a job in one of the big 4 since it's challenging working there and it's easier to obtain a H-1 visa for me.

Recently I've been struggling over the issue of minoring in either math or economics. My naive opinion on the issue is that a minor in economics will give me a broader knowledge and more leverage upon further development for my career while a minor in math will provide me with solid quantitative that enables me to go further in analyzing.

I'm also thinking about obtaining a master degree in accounting, so that the 5 year education will qualify me for CPA, which looks appealing since big 4 hire more and more CPAs nowadays.

Becoming a CFA also haunts me and my long term career objective is to become a commercial banker or to work for multinational corporations.

So, what do you guys think? Which minor will better equip me for my career path? Any opinion will be appreciated and thank you all for your time!
