Minor in Rhetoric and Persuasion

Any body know anything about what’s it’s like to study rhetoric?
I am thinking about switching my business minor to a minor in rhetoric and persuasion. The business classes are alright but I don’t really care for the culture of the business school. I don’t know anyone right now at my school pursuing rhetoric. I know a lot of English majors and my school has a very good English program, but I don’t think the studying literature is well suited to me. That said, I want to get better at writing. I think I’m not too bad of a writer right now, and a lot of the required classes sound really intriguing to me.

The beauty of a minor (at most schools) is that you can just start taking the classes you are interested in and declare it as a minor all the way up to autumn of senior year.

Fwiw, your minor (and to a larger extent than you might think, your major) isn’t that important outside of college. Having looked at many, many, many new grad job apps, I can tell you that minors are of very minor interest
