I am a business student majoring in management. I was considering minoring in Rhetoric and writing but I am a little worried that majoring in business and minoring in r&w may be too overwhelming. My other minor I am looking at is Asian studies. Anyon shave some advice or insight? Anything would be great!

Every college within the university has different rules on minors, but my guess is you’ll need the same number of hours for any minor you take (its 12 for engineering).

You might be able to double-count a core-curriculum class for writing, you you might be looking at 9. But talk to an advisor

You only need 12 hours of classes for your minor. I don’t think it’ll be overwhelming! As far as what to minor in, minor in something you love (considering you wont get any kind of certification from a minor; your minor won’t even have a place on your degree). But IMHO asian studies sounds cool!
