at the school i want to attend (Methodist university, a fairly good liberal arts school with students from 49 states and 48 countries) offers business administration among quite a few other things. the catch is all the business admin concentrations are worthless (PGA golf management, hotel management, ETC). BUT, the school also offers accounting and financial economics (new major among private and Ivy schools which is basically applied economics leaning closer to finance side) so i was thinking, why not take a minor in finance or accounting instead of a concentration? but i want to hear what you guys think. is it a good idea? a bad idea? i want to get into finance and/or management if it helps

bump to the top
