Well first off, since there are no secrets here, I am a minority. I'm an African-American female, to be exact. lol. However, nonetheless, I have been accepted with a $45, 920 scholarship for my first year :D.

I visited last year and was actually suprised by the racial diversity. Sure, its not as diverse as some state schools, but Georgetown definitely isn't doing too bad !

But regardless of the diversity, from what I know, Georgetown has a reputation for being "preppy.

If you are or were a student here, do you think this has a major impact on the overall campus vibe ? Is there a huge distinction between students of different ethnicities, or is Georgetown a pretty accepting campus? Given that Georgetown is a Jesuit university, how liberal or conservative do you think it is

Just curious to know ! Because now that I actually have my letter in my hand, I really want to know what I am getting myself into BEFORE I enroll. lol
