Hi All!
I’m REALLY into UK. Like, I really like it. But I was wondering about how minorities are treated both on campus and in the surrounding area. I’ve heard some stories that there has been some racial tension in the not-too-distant past, and as a black female, I don’t really want to put myself into that.
I JUST WANT TO SAY that in no way am I generalizing the people at UK or the people of Kentucky. I’ve been there, have family, there, and thoroughly enjoy my visits there. Y’all are great. I just want to know how prevalent to small percentage of “the bad ones” are, if you know what I mean!
