How do URMs fair in admission to STERN? What are the lowest SAT scores you've seen? I have earth-shattering ECs and wildly sexy essays but the scores just aren't there. Grades are great as well.

IF the scores and grades are there especially being from NYC your getting into stern is probably going to be a reach.

With programs like HEOP (fow income, high achieving students) and Chase Smart start scholarships both which offer virtually free rides, minority students from Bx Science, Stuyvesant, tech, townsend Harris, Hunter, etc. who will also be in the pool, they will not be at a loss of minorities which great all around stats applying.

it depends, what are ur scores and what are ur ecs
the good may outweigh the bad

Does STERN look at the whole applicant like Ivies do? Or are they more stats driven? What's the 25% percentile for STERN SATs? I can't find the exact figure online.

I know I'd have a much better chance at CAS but my ECs are business related. The whole Hunter/Stuy thing really worries me as well. But I don't want it to look like I'm backdooring into STERN.

I think at the undergrad level NYU is probably not as wholistic as the ivies just because of the sheer number of applicants, admits and number of schools.
