Minority Scholarships/Deadlines

<p>Florida State University—Incentive Scholarship (no separate application)
University of Washington—UW Diversity Scholar Award (December 1)
Ohio State University---Morrill Scholars Program (December 15)
American University---</p>

<p>Those are the colleges I am applying to, because I know they give really good fiancial aid, and they have a Minority Office. These colleges are really top in International Relations: esp American U(I would die to go there) and FSU, and U of W. I don't know about OSU, I know they have it as their major but American U has like a school for International Relations..urggh I want to go but my parents can't afford it..I am forced to go to OSU if i dont get these minority scholarship, and if I don't get enough aid. See my dad works at OSU and he gets 50% off if I go there, but I don't like the school at all.:( Please help me find the Minority Scholarship for American University, I know they have a Muliticultural Affairs office but I couldn't find Scholarships for minorities.

<p>The Admissions Committee makes all merit-based scholarship decisions and notifies students at the time they are admitted or shortly thereafter. No separate scholarship application is required except for the AU United Methodist Scholarship. </p>

<p>American University believes that applicants who demonstrate academic excellence should be rewarded for their effort and ability. Students who are typically awarded merit scholarships fall within the top 15 percent of our pool of admitted students. The Admissions Committee makes all merit-based scholarship decisions and notifies students at the time that they are admitted.</p>

<p>Regular Decision Freshmen: February 15, 2005
The FAFSA must be received by the federal processor by February 15, 2005.</p>

<p>AND
The AU Institutional Financial Aid Application must be received by the AU Financial Aid office by February 15, 2005.</p>

<p>Eligibility: Freshman applicants who were named National Achievement and National Merit finalists and National Hispanic Scholarship semi-finalists who designate AU as their first choice college with the National Merit Scholarship Corporation by February 1 of their senior year
United Methodist Scholarship</p>

<p>Eligibility-Children of an active, ordained Methodist minister. Applicants must submit a letter identifying themselves as the children of a Methodist minister.</p>

<p>AU offers no separate minority scholarships</p>
