Minority Scholarships qualifications?

This wasn’t my assumption. My “assumption” was:
That if a college admissions person remembered specifically that your school had no black students during his visit to your high school either he didn’t visit many schools or your kids must attend an all white high school. I also questioned whether any college admissions rep in his right mind would bring up that observation during a meeting with a black student and his mother.

We are getting closer. Lying and getting in trouble is far removed from fraud. Until I hear or see an example I do not believe that colleges do anything “legal” about students that misreport their race/ethnicity. At least it seems we agree that many/most don’t even bother to check.

Again, we agree.

As I said…there are no URM scholarships that MUST be accepted. Certainly for financial reasons any scholarship might be attractive, but a scholarship that is based on race/ethnicity and that you MUST accept does not exist…as far as I know.
