<p>I am 1/8 Native American. So I was planning on checking off both the caucasian and Native American box on my apps. </p>

<p>But, I am not enrolled in my tribe. Will schools hold this against me? </p>

<p>And I do identify somewhat with my Native American culture, I have a passion for my tribe's art and traditions.</p>

<p>If you are not enrolled, some colleges won't consider you Native American.</p>

<p>I thought nearly all Colleges required you to have tribal enrollment, because really, that is the litmus test for Native Americans.</p>
