so i misbubbled the ap serial numbers for my ap bio, psych, apush, and french exam....it said to bubble in the number that was s + 11 digit code, and there was one on the top of the scantron sheet. i bubbled that, but not the one that was on the actual multiple choice booklet. i asked my proctor and he said that all the tests had already been packed and sealed up, and that i wouldnt be able to correct it. i contacted collegeboard earlier today, and they told me to have my proctor file an incident report, and gave me a case number and everything. im really scared that my scores will be cancelled T_T.

has this happened to anybody before, and do you think it will affect my score? im really scared...:(

theres nothing you can do now, but I dont think your scores will be canceled. As long as they can identify your answer sheet and the test form i think everything will be fine.

And you guys got to be really careful with all this stuff. Double check you bubbled everything right. Make sure you followed directions, etc.

thanks so much! yeah…it was a pretty dumb mistake. i assumed that it was the right number since it started with an s and had the same number of numbers following the letter. yeah, im just gonna go tell the proctor tomorrow what collegeboard said to do along with all my info regarding what happened. i bubbled the form code (the 4hbp thing) correctly, so im hoping that, along with my ap student labels, will help them identify my form etc.

Hey I took the AP Biology test too! I think I may have not bubbled in something correctly and I’m totally freaking out! I was wondering if you remembered something… There were two blanks on the front page of the scantron one for the subject and one for the form under the subject you had to fill in a bubble it was like 20. Biology beside that you put you form code 4hbp were there bubbles underneath that too??? I don’t remember filling in any underneath the form just writing it in a blank. Please let me know if you remember.

Probably won’t affect your score, bubbling errors hardly ever do. It might delay it a bit though.
In the future, remember that if a sheet already has a serial number on it, it probably won’t ask you to bubble that same number on the same sheet.

Good chance your scores will be delayed, but unlikely they will be canceled. The purpose of including the serial number is just so they can match your MC booklet up to your scantron to make sure your MC book got back to them undamaged. With your name on the front of the MC packet and hopefully still organized with other exams from your school, it shouldn’t be too dificult to match up your MC book and scantron, particularly if that incidence report is filed.

@xochocoluverxo , no, that did not need to be bubbled.

@ xochocoluverxo

Unless you’re one of those people who are just unlucky, you probably bubbled everything in correctly. I remeber worrying about that too.

You’ll probably just get your scores late at worst.

O my goodness thank you so much Pancaked!!! I’ve been freaking out about it like crazy! No one could remember if that had to be filled in! CompSciGeek lol yes I am definitely one of those people thanks guys!! :D
