misc questions for ED

sending scores: i have one coming in this weekend (from the oct sat ii) and another sat ii to take in november. i heard scores are very slow - sometimes taking 3-5 weeks to reach a school. should i send my scores now and send the november scores when i get them (doing it twice) or wait until after the november 5th test date and rush everything? will they get all my scores on time?

thanks! your answer is appreciated

You sign up for the scores to be sent when you sign up for the test - thier site says that if you do the regular sign up option it should get there in time.

if i sign up for that during the Nov 5 sat ii's, will ALL my scores be sent including 2 SAT scores?

All of your scores are sent.

If I understand you correctly, all your tests taken on Nov 5th will be sent when you register for that date, any other SAT scores will have to be sent separately.

if i send my scores next week (before Nov 1) will they recieve them on time? my friend told me it took really long for them to get them.

OK- this is getting out of hand. When you send results to any college via collegeboard they see every result you've obtained. Eg- ANY SATi, SATii etc. Hence if you send your results when they come out they will also get all your previous results as well. You don't get to choose what results to send.

And yes- its a good idea to rush the Nov 5th results when they come out just in case.

They see all your test scores?

Does that mean that they will even see the SAT I took 2 1/2 years ago?

Yes. They see everything. The send score thing sends ALL your scores. Thats why its not recommended to take your SATs more than 3 times cauz it looks like you're slightly obsessed!

Where are the scores being sent out from? Think about it. I heard they "walk them over" to admissions.

pton is in princeton new jersey

so is collegeboard

the admissions director that came to my school said that princeton is the first university to recieve all SAT/AP/SAT II scores from collegeboard...all they need to do is walk down the street. NO NEED to rush delivery. if the app says they allow it, they won't be asking you to rush it to them and pay the extra money.
