So i have had a clean record all my life and got charged with use/poss of marijuana.

We might get the case dropped or friend to take the blame.

I might be paying a fine, doing some comm. service and being on probation.

That doesn't matter to much to me. What does is this going on my record for when i apply for careers out of college. Thinking of majoring in accounting or econ and currently I am a freshman at Northern Arizona University.

Will this charge hold me back?
Can i ever get it cleared?
If they found nothing on me on the search but they did later on the ground can they prove it's mine?

how much did you get busted with? If it's small amounts, and not intent to sell or anything then it can be expunged for a fee after a certain amount of time and hoops you need to jump through.

I'm not sure the exact details, but I know my friend did something similar.

It's something similar to that, at least in my state, but I couldn't quote you laws.

Probably not unless you know them, it's possible you might be able to get a free consultation, but Lawyers wont give up their time unless they think they're gonna get something out of it.

gatordan can ya get a hold of your friend now.

I dont care about paying a fine, doing comm service or probation. im never smoking again in my life.
I figured out i can do a lot more and have more fun in cheaper alternative ways.
I am so FREAKED out about job interviews after college/grad school though now.

Will they understand? i mean a class 1 misdeameanor isn't that bad?

You're a freshman in college- jobs/grad schools know people make a lot of ****ty mistakes when they're young; as long as you stay away from anything criminal from now on and show maturity, it should be ok.
