Misleading large envelope?

so i don’t know if bard even starts notifying applicants this early and i wasn’t expecting to hear back yet, but i came home and found a large envelope mailed first class from the bard office of admissions. when i opened it, it was just a catalog with no kind of cover letter or anything, which would be weird even if i wasn’t waiting for decisions. i’m really confused and frustrated (and i tried to call the admissions office to find out more but they didn’t pick up…) so does anyone have any idea of what might be going on here?

A note to applicants - all acceptance letters from Bard have, in the past, come in small standard No 10 envelopes.

They’re probably just sending catalogs to their applicants - nothing to get worked up about, I’m afraid. But enjoy looking through the course offerings.

A course catalog might be significant.

Not sure if the course catalog is a good sign, but D2 received one when she applied…and she was accepted some time later.

She also received her acceptance letter in a small regular sized envelope.

I wouldn’t think to hard about it, I got the same thing and I haven’t even submitted my application yet

^that’s the problem, i just feel like they should differentiate for people who are waiting on a decision…whatever, i’m not going to obsess on it for no reason but i still think it’s an incredibly stupid decision on their part.
