Mismatched GPA and SAT Chance Please

<p>I have a hard time figuring out my chances at different universities because my GPA and SATs are so different. I was wondering if I have a chance at the schools I have on my list?</p>

<p>My GPA is a 3.0 weighted academic</p>

CR 780
Math 680
Writing 640</p>

<p>2 Honors (Western Civ. and Calculus)
3 APs (European, Physics B, Micro and Macro Economics)</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
Staff Writer/Copy Editor of award wining school newspaper
Work 18+ hours a week during school (Manager)
Practice Martial Arts (outside of school)</p>

<p>Live in CT (Number 1 public school in state)</p>

<p>What is your GPA unweighted? Sorry to say, but colleges hate people with high SAT scores and low GPAs.</p>

<p>^Very true, since SAT scores can be gotten with a good tutor. Not saying anything about those scores, just the impression the adcom’s going to have.</p>
