Missed 2004 Tax Returns Deadline!

I'm applying to Pomona and it required copies of all 2004 tax reurns and W-2s to be sent on Feb. 1. I had made a list for all my colleges and I accidentally wrote Feb. 15. I just realized this today!

I of course did the FAFSA and CSS on time. Does this mean I have no chance of getting aid anymore if I send them out on Monday? I'm SO mad at myself. I just wish it was later like the rest of my schools.

hi estrella

I wrote Pomona asking if it was ok to send in the Business/Farm Supplement by 2/15 and this is what they said,

"I encourage you to have them postmarked by February 1, so they will get to our office in a timely manner. If we begin reviewing the student’s file, but do not have all the documentation in, we will not be able to create an offer of financial aid to send out with the acceptance letter, should the student be accepted."

Just send in a copy of your family's 2004 statement ASAP (i.e. tomorrow).

Ok thanks for your information. I started freaking out when I read the real date! On the website they made it sound like something major, like a death of a parent, was the only valid excuse for turning them in late.
