<p>If you have a good excuse as to why you missed the deadline, write them a letter with your application. That's the best you could at this point.</p>

<p>Some applications are considered if past the application deadline... but it does lessen your chances of admissions. You should call and ask if they are still willing to consider your application... they may be wiling to consider your application as a stronger applicant.</p>

<p>You have no chance of getting in if you don't apply, so if you're interested, apply even though it's past the deadline. I know people who have gotten into college despite applying late. As is the case with you, they were strong candidates for where they applied.</p>
<p>may as well take a crack at it, the worst thing that happens is they don't let you in and they definitely won't admit you if you haven't applied.</p>
<p>I had a friend who missed the Whitman College deadline by about a week, and she just called them and they gave her another week. Maybe call them?</p>
