UC Santa Cruz has a set deadline for its students to send in their AP scores which is July 15, however I feel like I may potentially miss this deadline. I ordered my scores to be rush delivered to UCSC July 11, but college board says that it will take 5-9 business days in order to deliver my scores. Does UCSC have a grace period for AP scores? If not, what will happen if I miss the deadline? Also, is there any other way to expedite my AP scores?

You should call the admissions office and get a definite answer but I believe you are OK. That July 15 deadline appears to be the date by which all admitted students need to have submitted any test scores from any SAT or AP tests that are actually needed to qualify for admission. For the UCs, you can meet certain a-g course requirements needed for admission by scores on SAT subject tests or AP tests in the event you did not take a required course in high school. For example, a 3 or better score on AP US history meets one of the two year social science course requirements needed for admission. Assuming the AP scores you are submitting are for the purpose of getting college credit and are not needed to meet your a-g course requirements needed for admission, having them arrive after July 15 should not be an issue but you should call to confirm.
