Missed Fin Aid Deadline, Some Q's

Okay, as my title suggests I missed the Feb 2 deadline to submit the CSS Profile and FAFSA. When I submitted the CSS Profile, I didn't send it to USC, and so it's well beyond the deadline. Is that a problem?

I checked the document management system and it does not list any documents under any of the three categories. I suppose since I missed the deadline, they do not want me to submit or "require" me to submit those documents?

I appreciate any help, this financial aid process is too confusing.

If you haven’t submitted the FAFSA or CSS/Profile, then you have not applied for financial aid. Those who do not apply for financial aid are not required to submit anything, so nothing shows up on your required documents list.

To be considered for any aid, you will have to submit those forms. I suggest you do so as soon as possible.

There is a discussion on the Financial Aid FAQ right now that if you did not include your SSN on your application, your USConnect will not show your required documents. The processing of your financial aid application is not affected, just your updates on USConnect.

The FAFSA, CSS/Profile, copies of parent and student 2010 tax returns and W-2s are still required of all financial aid applicants, even if they do not show up on your USConnect. You can FAX them in if you are unable to upload. Include USC ID# and applicant’s full name.
