S missed the deadline to purchase student tickets for the football games. He's disappointed, to say the least. How easy is it to get tickets from the lottery? What about scalping? (Strictly for the student section at the stadium.)

Nobody knows what the lottery will be like with this being the first year (I think) that Freshman can buy season tickets. Scalping is really easy on the facebook groups and with this years home schedule there won’t be many really expensive games.

“Don’t miss your chance to be a part of the Tradition of Virginia Tech Football. The Virginia Tech Athletics Department is offering you one final chance to order Virginia Tech Football student season tickets. For just $66 you will guarantee yourself a ticket for each home game this season. The deadline to order is Monday, August 26th at 4:00pm. No groups are allowed and this DOES NOT include tickets the Virginia Tech/Alabama game.”

Email I got from VT athletics department on the 15th. He still has time.

Thanks CloudyCloud! They must have extended the deadline. He’d even called the Athletic Dept. the day after the original deadline (the 6th or 7th?), and they told him he was too late, and he was completely crestfallen. Good news!

No problem. I do what I can.

There’s actually an article in the school newspaper on how season pass sales are low among the upperclassmen. I would imagine that is why they extended their deadline.

What, you mean nobody wants to see Western Carolina, Marshall, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, Duke and Maryland?
