Missed March 2nd deadline

<p>I totally forgot about filling out FAFSA for 2009-10 school year, because I had some big family issues going around these days. </p>

<p>I know I can still fill out FAFSA, but is there any way I can still apply for Pell Grant and Cal Grant by late appeal? If so, how much I can get?</p>

<p>My mom makes under $50K a year and raises her children by her own. Both of my brother and I are transferring to UC from CC this year, so I definitely need to get this aid as much as possible.</p>

<p>I would greatly appreciate any advice, please!</p>

<p>The Pell grant will still be available if your EFC is low enough (<4617). There is no march 2 deadline for the Pell.</p>

<p>March 2 is the deadline for the Calgrant. I believe it is a pretty firm deadline. You would need to ask them if there is an appeal process for missing the deadline.</p>
