<p>I submitted my application yesterday, 10 days ahead of the the app deadline of Jan 15, and I thought I didn't have to submit the CSS profile until later like most other colleges. I looked on Haverford's site today, however, and saw that the CSS deadline was Jan 1! So obviously I submitted it immediately, but my question is, is it too late? Am I out of the running for financial aid? I can't afford Haverford without it.</p>
<p>You are ahead of schedule. For some reason, Haverford wants you to <em>register</em> with the CSS Profile by January 1st. I’m sure people must miss that deadline all the time, because I haven’t seen any other school request it. I’ll copy and paste the FA requirement from their website below:</p>
<p>Regular Decision</p>
<pre><code>Register with the College Board for the 2013-2014 Profile Application with Haverford’s CSS Code (2289) by January 1
Submit the 2013-2014 Profile Application to the College Board with Haverford College’s Profile Code (2289) by February 1
Submit the 2013-2014 FAFSA to the Federal Government with Haverford’s Federal FAFSA Code (003274) as one of the colleges to receive access to your data by February 1
Submit a signed copy of all pages and schedules of your parents’ 2012 U.S., Puerto Rico, or foreign tax return plus W-2’s to the College Board’s Institutional Documentation Service (IDOC) by February 15th or as soon as possible. See “Additional Forms You Will Have to File” for more information on IDOC. Do not send directly to Haverford College.
Submit any other additional forms which apply to you by February 1
