actually, I turned in my transcript, but they said they didn't receive it and they should have by now. Lucky me, my school doesn't send it so I sent it myself, forgetting to get a proof of mailing. So now, they're saying whoever missed the deadline is automatically rejected. I even drove all the way there, to talk to a very nasty lady, in person :(

You can always try this email: appeals@fullerton.edu
But you should also call the admission office for full details of the process… since I almost thought I had to go through it with due to the late transcripts. Apparently, I dont have to send it even though I already asked my school for it. Great.

I just emailed them, but I’m afraid they won’t respond because they didn’t respond when I emailed admissions earlier this month about the portal. Do you know the procedure/process of appealing by any chance?

The procedures for UC’s and CSU’s may be different so I’m not sure. You would need to write them a letter and then have two recommendations (one from your counselor and one from any of your teachers). I know a student who had to go through an appeal to UCI and she did that.

The generally rule for all of the CSUs is that you are supposed to send them a transcript after completing the Fall semester whether they ask for it or not. I applied to Fullerton also and they never asked me for my transcripts, but they expect them. They have so many applicants that missed deadlines are one way of weeding people out. For UCs don’t send transcripts unless they ask for them or they will just get thrown away, but you do have to update your application online after your Fall semester. Sorry but you are not going to get in…did you apply to anywhere else?

If you were admitted you don’t need a 7th semester transcript. this is only necessary if you didn’t get accepted and were on wait or something. i called the lady at csuf admissions and she told me you didn’t. only ask for an appeal if you weren’t accepted.

i misssed the deadline too and i already thought i wasnt going to be accepted but i got the letter of accpetance yesterday and i called and they said to just send it that day…!! so dont worry it might be ok… and if u dont get in u shud def. appeal it

I have been admitted to UCR as a transfer student, but few days ago my application has been cancelled because I messed up the deadline month, so I’m trying to write an appeal letter. I have no idea how to write it, but if i explained them would they understand and accept me back?
