Missing Apps

I applied to Yale this year, and I just got a letter a couple of days ago saying I was missing a part of my application. I checked, and realized that I had COMPLETELY forgotten to send it in. It was the common app supplement. So I sent it in the next day by mail (they wouldn't let me send it in online), and I now have my fingers crossed hoping this little one month delay to one of the best colleges in the nation will not damage my chances of getting in.... What do you think?

you shouldnt be too worried....i doubt its gonna seriously affect your chances

then again, what do i know :p

yeah i'm kinda freakin out haha, i can't believe i just totally forgot to send it in

they might think that you did send it in earlier, but that they just didn't recieve it because of an error at the post office or something...since they notified you just a few days ago I'm sure they won't penalize you for sending it in a month late

Yea they'll probably think that it was their fault...that they lost it.

Brown did lost my Part II so I had to resend it...I guess things like that happen all the time >.< not a comforting thought, but at least they notified you in time!

Purdue lost my friend's entire app. I don't know why. They got nothing from him save for his SAT scores. They informed him several weeks ago, and now he was offered admissions, rolling.

wow haha that'd be real nice to hear that purdue has nothing from you at all... I guess my situation isn't too bad huh?

yeah, so be cool. it won't couint against you. good luck!
