<p>I have applied to integrative biology and other bio majors in UCLA, UCB, UCD and UCSD.</p>

<p>Now here is my question, I planned to take Organic chem 12A in the spring quarter but due to budget cuts, this class was cancelled. So I left with two classes (O chem 3A and 3B) on my application not taken. However, UCB suggested that those classes are just strongly recommended (but still requirements), i wonder how that work out.</p>

<p>BTW my GPA is 4.</p>

<p>****...o chem is pretty important for ur major...but since it wasn't your fault try talking to them. maybe they will understand. this budget cuts are affecting my courses too...like I wanted to take a software engineering course but the class was cancelled...and I seriously dont' want to wait another year to take that course and apply...I sure hope the UCs understand this.</p>
