Just got an e-mail that I'm missing some financial aid stuff, including a certification/tax forms. As usual, I'm worried if this will impact my app negatively. More importantly, what address should I mail the stuff to? Hmmm, I wonder who could help me.....cough admissionsdaniel cough

yeah, same here; just got the email.

I received the email too.. is the site not working for anybody else?

This is a good since guys! I also got the email too. The email means they are still looking over the application and is thinking ahead about financial aid things

Haha, I think they just want to make sure everybody's file is complete

I too got the email. My dad just recently filed the 2005 tax return so now I can send it in, though :)

lol just trying to keep up the heart beating dude!!

Haha, I also thought that same thing at first alohafools. Then I remembered that Hopkins rescinded its need-blind policy. I was crushed lol.

I got the same email but I was confused because I thought I sent everything in...

I'm confused because although I know my ISIS ID, I have no idea what my password is. I looked up my name in their records and it still has me associated with the hospital I worked at this summer.. I guess I'd better call tomorrow.

Just click the lost password button and it'll send you a new one. Worked immediately for me.

i clicked that but it led me to a page asking for my LID.. which i searched for, and it said it was suppressed. gah!

My Fin aid stuff is missing too though I had faxed them those documents about 4-5 days back....

ronty, wait a few more days

Ive gotta send in 2005 too. The ISIS is a nice system tho :)

whats with these jhu people....
first my sat scores..then my finaid info...i wonder what will go missing next. :(

and whats more, they send fee waivers to people to encourage them to apply...when they can hardly manage so many applications.

haha finaid forms which they are asking is a critical component of the application for admissions... this wont at all affect the students negatively and even does to an extent yes mean that the files are still not dead...

unless of course u still fail to giv the docs again( if they asked) within the stipulated deadline,... it wont hurt at all.. coz for many this ain't a glitch from their part.. so dont worry..
this is just a chance given to complete your file .. and u shud take the stuff as they have directed you to..

SM

I got the email. I'm missing the document "Student didn't file tax return", which I sent in over a week ago. I'm also missing the 2005 Tax return, but my parents haven't filed, so that doesn't matter yet, right?

since you sent in just a week ago .. then it may take a while for it to get updated but maybe you should call up the financial aid office to reckeck its reciept...

and if u have given 2004 tax returns i guess as they have said.. 2005 ones wont be required as of now..

SM

WHOA WHOA WHOA!!!!!

JHU is NOT NEED-BLIND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, this is a shocker, and now, I'm going to proceed to poop in my pants. Anyone who can correct me or explain that policy in further detail will save me a lot of discomfort, cleaning, and bad smells.

JHU is not need blind for INTERNATIONAL students .For US citizens this aint the process..

SM

Just say JHU isnt need-blind anymore.
Then is it better to apply or not to apply for financial aid?

and my application is complete even i didnt apply for finaid, right?
