<p>My application still says that I have two missing items:</p>
<p>My teacher recs and the counselor's statement</p>
<p>I asked my counselor if she sent them in on time, and she said yes. I think it was around the Friday before the 1st, or maybe even on the first. Regardless, she said she got them in on time. </p>
<p>Are they bogged down by last minute applications?
Or should I call to see what the problem is?</p>

<p>id get your counselor to make the call if at all possible. I have found out that they have a lot more power than you'd think in these situations.</p>
<p>Otherwise, call yourself. Ive seen the adcom place, it seems very laid back and probably wont mind working with you to get everything in.</p>

<p>they processed my counselor statment within like a day of receiving it. i would definitely call though because my short residency form got lost going the first time and I waited a long time and finally called and they said it must of gotten lost in the mail. so ya, just call cuz they are very nice and will probably let u send it again</p>

<p>prodj88- Do you live in NC? I'm from Florida and I think my guidance counselor sent the forms in AT THE LAST MINUTE. Considering all the applications they get, I don't think they'd process them that quickly. </p>
<p>Do you know if the admissions office is open on the weekends? Today is a UNC holiday, and their website is timing out everytime I try to go to it.</p>
