I'm hoping to transfer to CSULB for Spring 2015 as a Biology major. Unfortunately I'm missing two of the major required courses (Chem 2 & Calc 1), but I'm taking both of these this fall at my CC. I have already completed the Golden Four, have 60 units, and a 3.84 GPA. What do you think my odds of getting in are considering that I won't have finished the required courses when I turn in my app? Thanks in advance!

I’ve talked to the csulb counselor a month ago and he said that our application will be mostly based on the Major Prep courses (completion wise). Next would be the GPA.

I think we have a better chance of getting in this spring since we won’t be competing with the incoming high school graduates.

Okay that doesn’t sound too bad. Yeah I’m thinking not many people apply for spring in general hopefully. I didn’t even know the accepted applications until a few months ago. Good luck mpen181
