When I logged into my Princeton application tracking site, it said that everything but my 2nd teacher's recommendation was in. I found this strange because her recommendation for all the other schools I've checked so far was in... does this mean that I have to go ask her to send another one (I really really don't want to pester her with this again =_=)? Or should I wait a little bit more to see if they find it? :/
Thanks in advance!

Just wait. Processing 20,000 applications takes quite a while. If it turns up missing in the end, they’ll email you and let you know :)

You can check to see if she did send it. If she did, it’s probably in the huge pile of application material. Just wait a few more days and see if they find it. As long as your common app and stuff YOU turn in are before the deadline, it doesn’t matter if the other stuff (transcripts, recs, etc) come later.
Good luck!

it shows that my official score reports r missing and i sent them like over a month ago
i’m freaking out

Good God people calm down Take a deep breath. Everything will be fine! It takes time for them to process everything! You’re going to age yourself twenty years by the time decisions come out if you keep this up :P

hehe yeah i know evertheoptimist…
but SAT scores, over a month
wouldn’t u be worried???

thanks everyone (:
@evertheoptimist, haha yeah, you’re right. once, as i was walking getting out of the metro, this 30 year old guy approached me and asked me for my number thinking I was some 27 year old… =_= unflattering (: If Princeton has lost my rec, then oh well, time to bake another batch of brownies for my teacher!

@cdld2008

Haha my score reports DO still show as missing But stressing about things you can’t control isn’t going to help anything :)

ohhhhhhhhh k sorry to hear that hehe
well we r on the same boat
but hey did u send ur scores over a month ago? and yeah u r right i don’t wanna look 36 when i’m only 16 hehe

evertheoptimist, cdld2008

I have the same problem. I sent my SAT scores in Oct. They show as missing, too. I’m worried.

Don’t be! I just received an email saying that all required documents have been received. Out of curiosity, I decided to check the online tracking site; it still shows my reports as missing. The admissions staff are dealing with literally hundreds of thousands of documents. It is going to take them weeks to process everything, and perhaps even longer to actually get the tracking site current. They may have already processed your scores for all you know And if they haven’t, what’s the worst that will happen? They will shoot you an email in a few weeks, you’ll reply and resend your scores, and everything will be fine!

my scores r still not there…
patiently waiting…

Thought I’d throw this photo on here. I forget what thread it was on. It’s Brown. But you’ll feel better realizing how all your individual paperwork has to get sorted, and see why it can take SO long. Don’t forget to move around to look at the ENTIRE photo.

loool thanks man, that was hilarious ^^

kkk ummm my official score reports r still missing… it’s been a month and a half…
what about u guys??? all ur stuff there??? gee i’m really starting to get nervous

I’m having a little freak out moment myself lol. I just received an e-mail stating that they have not yet received my 2nd Teacher Recommendation. I figured that they would not have sent me this e-mail unless they truly did not receive it.
I know you’re all saying to calm down, but I cannot help panicking. Do I request a second letter from my teacher?
I’m only concerned because they directly sent an e-mail, although they said they would send all students an e-mail/letter stating if there are missing materials.

@whyorwhynot, I just got the same exact e-mail too. I was hoping that my 2nd rec was lost in a pile of other stuff and not gone forever… yeah, we have to ask our teachers to send another copy (oh vey). They sent me a direct e-mail as well.

Stay calm Just send another copy of the rec.

do they send e-mails if ur scores r missing?? i haven’t gotten an e-mail about missing items but it still shows that my scores r not there…

Just wait for a little bit. My scores to Penn are still missing after almost 2 months. They have a lot of things to go through.
