Missing Materials?

How can I tell if I some of my application materials haven't arrived? I haven't recieved any letters from Stanford, but another university mailed me a letter describing the credentials I'm missing. Since I used the same carrier (speedpost) to send out application documents for both universities, I'm wondering if my Stanford materials are also missing. Anyone with some experience in this domain?

Stanford will e-mail you if something is missing.

No news from Stanford is good news.

When do they let you know if you're missing materials?

Havent heard ANYTHING from them....
unnerving

Well, except from the messages they sent when I submit Part I and Part II. Is this normal?

Completely normal. Everyone gets confirmation for Parts I and II.

I remember it took roughly month or a month and a half during SCEA before Stanford notified the applicants who had missing items.

do they tell you if it is complete explicitly?

or is no notification from them a confirmation?

Exactly my question. Do they send you anything to confirm that they've recieved everything?

I believe they don't send out anything to confirm that everything is in, which is a bit unnerving. I didn't get anything for SCEA.

do you get any notificaiton on whether they got your FAFSA or Financial Aid materials?

If you aren't sure, a quick email or call to the Admissions office won't hurt. As I've posted before, my son didn't hear from one college until after they had sent out regular acceptances that his transcript had gone missing. Even then, it took more than a week of bugging them repeatedly for a clarification of his status. He ended up on the waitlist - fortunately, it wasn't one of his top choices.

That school may have been particularly messed up, but it doesn't hurt to ask if all materials have been properly received.

i got no notification of whether or not they received my materials.

im calling them on monday, though.

AHHH I got the dreaded email: No SAT scores.

WTHECK! i sent stanford my scores when i did my last sats (every other university received them) AND i rushed the score report on dec 27 AND i sent a hardcopy of the score report along with my recs in the same envelope.

what's up with this???
