<p>So...I payed for my carnegie app on common app....it even says "paid" when i go to the site.....but carnegie sent me this post card type letter that said they could not yet begin reviewing my app because i hadn't payed....what should i do?</p>
<p>Ahh, your first encounter with CMU b.s. Just e-mail admissions onlining your payment, referring to your payment on the site you mentioned and then inform them of their ill-fated postcard. They will e-mail you and apologize. Most likely before they fix the problem, you will get another postcard. Ignore it. Our bureaucracy is smart like that.</p>
<p>They lost mine too, I just faxed them my credit card statement and it got cleared up. I don't see how you can lose a credit card payment.</p>
<p>Same here also. I faxed the payment receipt, and they fixed it. It's weird that they would lose an electronic payment.</p>

<p>The same thing happened to me. I called them up, and they sent confirmation a few weeks later.</p>
