Got the emails thrice, accepted!
I also got the email to submit the PFAA three times and I got accepted!!! I will be attending this fall 
Funny because I also got financial aid request emails from the only other ivy I got accepted too as well (Dartmouth). No emails from Columbia and Brown and I got wait listed at both. Correlation? I’ll let you future applicants be the judges of that 
I had missing documents to Brown & I never got an email so I thought that meant I wasn’t in… To my surprise I was accepted!! Have no idea what this means but…

Got FAFSA emails 3 times in one day on 3/24/15. Accepted.
Another data point:
October: Got an FA email during REA --> deferred
Spring: No FA email (though I told them I wouldn’t be applying for FA) --> admitted
