<p>my friend just looked online to see his application status and it says one of the recs didn't come in, since they're mailing decisions tomorrow is there anything he can do?</p>
<p>i'm applying transfer to penn and i had the same teacher provide a rec for me...and it took a few reminders for her to get it in</p>
<p>Maybe the rec is in but Cornell just didn't update their site yet. Cornell should've contacted him if they needed another teacher rec. Right now, there is nothing he can do. I suppose if he gets waitlisted, he can contact them and explain what happened.</p>
<p>If this were a serious problem, Cornell would have already notified him that they aren't considering his app. Obviously, this is not the case, so don't worry about it.</p>

<p>perhaps he was convincing or dismally credentialed enough that they didnt care about the 2nd rec.</p>
