"Missing" recommendation forms. Fax them?

This got me kinda freaked out. here's the situation:

My teacher sent her recommendation form for my ED abit late, on Nov 1st to be exact. Today I received an email regarding that "missing" form. Now, since I am an international applicant, it will usually take 6-12 working days for air mails from my country to arrive in the US. I understand that it takes time for Penn officers to sort out the mails which might explain why it's currently missing. I called up their office and they suggested that I should fax a copy of the missing documents.

The problem is, I don't think my teacher keeps a copy of the original, filled-up form. This is quite bothersome because currently I am still doing my exam and the teachers aren't exactly accessible at this point in time. I also don't know if she'd be willing to go through the trouble of filling out the forms again.

With this in mind, should I:
a)Print her another copy of the form and ask her to fill up again and fax it? or
b)Just wait it out until they find the original mail and file it to my application?

If they told you it's missing, you better get them another copy.

it won't make a huge difference if u faxed them, i remember faxing mine

Would Penn care if the faxed copy is slightly different than the originally mailed one? Or perhaps I should fax a note to explain the situation?

If they asked you for a faxed copy that means they don't have the originally mailed copy to compare it with.

I was thinking of the event that the mail comes through. But I guess I should stop worrying too much about it and fax another copy. Thanks
