<p>Golfingdad-- I might be inclined to agree with you, but I have to wonder. The media links seem to be to local papers, not national news. I think any missing college student would get some local coverage. Maybe somebody with Nexis access would do a search "missing college student."
As far as generating CC comment is concerned, that is always heavily skewed to what happens at elite schools because that are schools the bulk of CC members are interested in.</p>

<p>Somehow I think that there is more to this story (personal life, family life/situation, school life, etc.) than we will ever know. Thank goodness he was found alive and the family now has some closure. My prayers are with this young man and his family as they try to work thru all of this.</p>
