I just checked my application status, and it is STILL missing one teacher recommendation. I have noticed it back in early February, so I asked my college counseling office to quickly forward both recommendation letters to Columbia. But, it still seems to be missing a document. Considering that we only have 10 days until we are informed of our fate, do you think I should be worried about it? Or, if I haven't been contacted otherwise, do I need to assume that they received everything but haven't had time to update the application status site? Please let me know. I am freaking out.

it's possible that they could have evaluated you without the second recommendation. if i recall correctly, somewhere on the application it says that if they don't have two recs, they will go ahead and read your files with just one.

There's also a good chance that both Recs were listed as "A." Also, they would've contacted you if they were missing anything.

Thanks guys. I just confirmed with my college counselor and she said my Columbia app was complete with 2 letters. I guess they just didn't update it on the web. Anyway, I'm relieved.
