I initially decided to apply to Cornell under Early Decision so I had my high school send in the transcript and school report early to meet the ED deadline. However, I decided against applying early due to financial reasons so I didn't submit my application until a few days before the Regular Decision deadline. Now, I checked Cornell's application status checker and the aforementioned files/documents are not yet received.

Did I have to do something other then sending my Common App (I marked down regular decision for Cornell on there) after the ED deadline for the RD deadline if I initially had my information and documents sent in for ED?

If you originally had all of the forms in (or you thought you did), call them and ask. If the report was sent in early (it doesn’t matter which deadline you were trying to meet), they should have processed it by now. I would also check with your counselor to follow up that they sent it.

Thanks. My counselor told me that all relevant information and documents had been sent in.

Cornell’s website states the following.

“At this time we are unable to respond to phone calls or email inquiries about application materials. In mid-February, when our processing nears completion, we will notify you if we are missing materials from your application and will provide you with an opportunity to complete your file. In the meantime, please do not send duplicate copies of your application materials.”

Guess I’ll have to wait.
