Missing Transcript - will offer be rescinded?

will I be rescinded if I'm missing a transcript? I didn't report it because I didn't realize I had received credit for those courses.

I am transferring from a community college, accepted at LAC. I took those classes more than 6 years ago, at a community center - not offered directly by a school but this organization. I got a completion certificate and thought that was that. I didn't realize until recently (last couple weeks) that there was a partnership with a college, which gave credits for successfully passing those courses. I asked for a copy of the transcript and it says I received 4 credits but no grade (basically as a pass/fail class). I didn't receive any financial aid for these classes and was not "matriculated" as a student. These were kinda like humanities classes for non-students. By the way I told the school that I had participated in this program, just didn't say anything about getting credit for the course because I didn't know that was the case.

My questions:
Do I tell my college and explain the situation? Will they understand?
What are the chances the college would rescind my offer?
I also received an outside scholarship, would they rescind my scholarship because of this?
What are the chances they would even find out about these credits?

You will be in much bigger trouble if they find out later in some other way. Pick up the phone tomorrow, call the admissions office. Tell them that you have just discovered this, and that the official transcript is on it’s way.

Update. I spoke with school and it was a non-issue, basically said registrar may or may not accept them for transfer, but nothing regarding the fact I didn’t submit them during application period. I had transcript sent to school and the scholarship organization. I have not heard anything from the scholarship people about it, looks like it’ll be a non-issue as well. Upon closer examination, it turns out it’s credits earned but under the code “audit”. Not sure how that factors into it. Definitely feel a lot calmer knowing I put it out there - thanks for responding @happymomof1

Thanks for the update!

Good luck at the new LAC!
