i was checking my staus today and it says "W-2 forms-not recieved- 3/17/2010." i dont know how this is possible since the last 10 times i've checked the status has said nothing is missing. so now i'm worried that all my other colleges are missing forms or if Columbia just requires forms that nobody else does.

I got that too, but my parents don’t receive salaries anyway, so they don’t need/have W-2 forms. That should be clear on the tax return, so I’m just ignoring it.

Usually W-2 forms are required, if applicable, by colleges when you apply for financial aid. I know Harvard and Yale did.

@ thenatural

yeah! the same thing happened to me. i’m going to call the fin aid office tomorrow and see what’s up.

lmao i had the same thing

Mine are too… and I mailed them a month ago.

my dad resent some stuff today ill let you guys know if anything changes

Just a random question next to your missing W-2’s does it say processing or disbursement?
Thanks 9 days:)

Disbursement

disbursement. does that mean anything?

Mine are still listed as missing, but the status date is 2/3/10.

mine say recieved now!!! yay! it still says disbursement tho

Says “waived” for me, as of 3/21/2010.

Mine still says not recieved status as of 2/8…for like four other documents.

Should I be worried?!

Just wondering I thought maybe it would be different for people. Guess im just reading into stuff way too much I just really love Columbia!

i wouldnt worry especially since none of this influences admission decisions. thats jsut something i tell myself when i fell like i’ve forgotten some forms lol
